As a mother of five, Ashleigh knows firsthand what it means to stretch a budget, navigate a broken healthcare system, and fight for your kids' futures every single day. She spent years dedicating herself to raising her children and works as a veterinary assistant — proof that with enough determination, Michigan families can do extraordinary things. But they shouldn't have to fight this hard just to get by.

Veterinary Assistant
Ashleigh works as a veterinary assistant, gaining hands-on experience in animal care while balancing the demands of raising five children — a testament to her work ethic and commitment to her community.
Community Organizer & Advocate
Ashleigh has always been someone who shows up. Whether it's attending school board meetings, IEP meetings, advocating for Michiganders facing housing insecurity, or speaking out on environmental issues affecting Michigan — she's been in the room, doing the work.
